CA School of Excellence is a private independent study program serving grades K-12. We provide a supportive network, encouragement and assistance to families who are either considering, or have made the decision to educate their children at home. All families are welcome to apply, regardless of religious affiliation or educational philosophy. This program serves the entire state of CA.

*One parent households, next to those with children with special needs, are probably in need of the most encouragement and support of all. At the CA School of Excellence, we certainly try to do our part to ensure and assist you as much as possible. Yes, if you're just starting out we know how daunting this may all seem. With a myriad of curriculum, philosophy choices and legal issues confronting you, who can be expected to decipher all of it? The CA School of Excellence is here to help. In addition to general program services, we offer our families customized program development if they should need it.
Through our new Resource Library, parents have access to some of the most popular homeschooling and family materials, designed to help you become more acquainted with various aspects of the homeschooling movement. What's better is, they're delivered them straight to your front door, postage paid. There's no need to constantly keep buying new books, or wasting tons of time looking for them all around town.
CA School of Excellence is a bonafide private school with a private school affidavit on file at the state department of education.
